May 2004 ushered in the fourth annual Courageous Persuaders Awards, an exciting event celebrated by many students, teachers and supporters, thanks to the generosity of sponsors and the astounding creativity of high school students. As guests arrived to show off their threads on the red carpet, McCann Erickson’s Joanie Rizzio interviewed the hopeful Persuaders.

As if the students, presenters and sponsors weren’t already celebrities in their own right, the entire awards show will air throughout the year on participating community-access cable stations. Some of the evening’s highlights even appeared on Detroit Fox 2 News.
