Linda Thomas Brooks, President of the AdCraft Club of Detroit, presented the $2,000 AdCrafter award to Tim Osebold and Peter Rayes of Warren Mott High School.

And in one of the big surprises of the evening, the Squirrel of “Drinking Is Nutty”, a commercial by Amber Golembiewski (Dearborn High School) was presented with the Star Performer award by John Barczyk of McCann Erickson.

Finally, it was time to announce the Grand Prize winner: As the proverbial drum rolled and the audience hushed, John Barczyk and Judge Martone congratulated the team from Lahser High School: Kurt Weider, Chris Hutchinson and Nathan Taylor and on their Grand Prize $3,000 scholarship award.

After another successful, informative and truly exciting awards show, guests safely headed back home, the Squirrel started his own chorus line and Judge Martone received some good-bye wishes from adoring fans...
